Cold Weather Tips for Pets

Winter is here and Royal Pet Salon has some helpful tips to keep your pet warm and looking great! 

1. Brush your dog's coat often. During the winter months, dogs grow a thicker coat. Brushing your dog's coat often will help avoid matting and will reduce shedding.
2.  Use a pet sweater only when needed. Pet sweaters are a great way to keep your pets warm, but keep a close eye to ensure your pet doesn't overheat, or become agitated with the sweater. 
3. Maintain your dog's paws and nails. Since your dogs are spending more time indoors, you may need to clip their nails more often.
